Club holiday at Cote Ghyll Mill Youth Hostel Friday to Monday 12 to 15 September

For more details, see my post of February19th. Everyone who has shown an interest can make the dates of Friday 12 to Monday 15 September so those are the dates we are going for. Book early to make sure you can get the room of your choice!

This is a 'book yourself' holiday in a great area for road cycling, gravelling and MTB and the more members of the club that can make it, the more fun we will have.

I hope a few of you will be getting it in your diaries now.

With regard to the deposit paid by some of you earlier for the exclusive use option which we were not able to pursue, I will be in touch very soon about returning it to you after I have met the Treasurer this afternoon.

  With thanks to Adella, we have identified an option for a holiday at Cote Ghyll Mill Youth Hostel near Osmotherley , east of Northallerton . There looks to be a great choice of road cycling gravelling and MTB nearby.  We are proposing to book the hostel entirely for our use from Thursday 18th September to Sunday 21st September . The property does not do self-catering; we either take B & B or full board including a packed lunch and 2 course evening meal and the full board option is very economical so that is what we propose. The property has 14 bedrooms each with 2, 4 or 6 beds in them and all of them are ensuite. I have worked on the basis of 2 people sharing a room but one room (at least) could be turned into a single-sex dorm style room. They are all bunk beds but 5 of the rooms have a lower bunk which is a double bed. If 2 people are in a room for 4 (or 6) they will both be able to have a lower bunk I have worked out the cost on the basis of 2 people sharing each roo...

Simple Survey of interest in group holiday

As discussed at the AGM - we need to get some indication of interest in a club week away next year 2025. We are thinking11-18 May so.......
