Wed 15th April Dalston to Silloth

Apologies to Adella, but Coniston is a bit far south for me. I will be riding from Dalston (9:30am start) to Silloth via Moorhouse to collect John H, a fairly direct route there and back trying to avoid main roads and the route is fairly flat. Bacon roll at Fairy Dust. If anyone would like to join us text or WhatsApp me 07590 605203. Route  About 55miles or 40miles if you want to join from Moorhouse. Fingers crossed for the weather. Around Coniston 33 miles or Thirlmere add on 54 miles

Hi  This is a repeat of a ride I led last year around Coniston. 2 options available all starting and ending from the same place. 33 miles. Start Rydal Water at either White Moss Carpark or just before White Moss Carpark turn left up a hill for free parking in an old quarry. This route goes to Esthwaite Water - where we can stop for an early coffee at the Boathouse. Then onto Clappersgate, Lowick, along the side of Coniston and back to Rydal water and the Carpark. Lunchstop at Brantwood cafe on the shores of Coniston. Route here:   54miles - This route exactly the same as the 33 mile route but carries on through Grasmere, up Dunmail Rise and around Thirlmere. Route here   You can decide on the day. Stop after 33 miles at the carpark or carry on and do another loop. (Handy for those of us training for the Pyrenees holiday) Text or Whatsapp me if you are coming. Adella 07957 325321
