 I will ride from Beacon Edge on Wednesday to the Pot Place for coffee. I will leave from the cemetery at 9:30 riding through Newton Rigg to Skelton ,possibly to Calthwaite and then to the Pot place returning by Stoneybeck.  I am aiming to do about 25 miles .If anyone wants to join me sent me a text.Phil is away but I will try and add it to the runs list. Trivets Wednesday 2 July 2025

We had another successful planning meeting on Thursday – thanks to all those who came along. If it isn’t there already, please put the date of 2 July in your diary for our Trivets event starting from Dalston Victory Hall. This is a great opportunity to showcase our lovely area to visitors and the figure of 8 route from Dalston, taking in Mungrisdale in the morning and the Solway coast in the afternoon, does just that. We’ve been running Trivets events at least from 2010 – that’s as far back as Nigel and I go – and even if you aren’t up to the riding, it’s always a great day, meeting like minded cyclists and having fun. We can’t do this without the full participation of the club so we hope you will volunteer to help. There is a form to complete to help us spread the jobs around and to make sure we don’t end up with not enough soup and too much crumble!
