Bring and Share Lunch 1230

This is a notice to remind you that our annual meeting at which we review the past year and plan for the coming one, comes up shortly.  So please think about whether you could help by joining the committee and keeping things going! 

We hope to have a Bring and Share light lunch before the meeting and possibly after a short morning ride. If you are attending the lunch then please <SIGN UP> saying what you will bring. Traditionally it has been soup or a light snack/salad followed by crumble and custard

Holiday Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September

  With thanks to Adella, we have identified an option for a holiday at Cote Ghyll Mill Youth Hostel near Osmotherley , east of Northallerton . There looks to be a great choice of road cycling gravelling and MTB nearby.  We are proposing to book the hostel entirely for our use from Thursday 18th September to Sunday 21st September . The property does not do self-catering; we either take B & B or full board including a packed lunch and 2 course evening meal and the full board option is very economical so that is what we propose. The property has 14 bedrooms each with 2, 4 or 6 beds in them and all of them are ensuite. I have worked on the basis of 2 people sharing a room but one room (at least) could be turned into a single-sex dorm style room. They are all bunk beds but 5 of the rooms have a lower bunk which is a double bed. If 2 people are in a room for 4 (or 6) they will both be able to have a lower bunk I have worked out the cost on the basis of 2 people sharing each roo...

12.30 for 1300 The image shows the menu and that you can have various options - click/whatever to enlarge 2 or 3 courses plus coffee at £30 or £37 Various dietary requirements can be requested alongside each option -please read the menu carefully then give us your options choices.
