Little outing ? Sunday 26th

Thinking of riding to Sunday coffee stop at Lowther: Anyone interested in joining me I will aim to be at the T junction on Beacon Edge leading to the Roundthorn (ie top of strawberry hill road) at 945 ish tomorrow. Then going via Langwathby Culgaith Temple S Morland Gt Strickland Hackthorpe etc (32km) Decide what to do after coffee but prob just return as it looks like being wet in the pm. I would appreciate company!😇 Geoff

Holiday Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September

  With thanks to Adella, we have identified an option for a holiday at Cote Ghyll Mill Youth Hostel near Osmotherley , east of Northallerton . There looks to be a great choice of road cycling gravelling and MTB nearby.  We are proposing to book the hostel entirely for our use from Thursday 18th September to Sunday 21st September . The property does not do self-catering; we either take B & B or full board including a packed lunch and 2 course evening meal and the full board option is very economical so that is what we propose. The property has 14 bedrooms each with 2, 4 or 6 beds in them and all of them are ensuite. I have worked on the basis of 2 people sharing a room but one room (at least) could be turned into a single-sex dorm style room. They are all bunk beds but 5 of the rooms have a lower bunk which is a double bed. If 2 people are in a room for 4 (or 6) they will both be able to have a lower bunk I have worked out the cost on the basis of 2 people sharing each roo...
