Saturday 3rd Sept - Pot Place meet with Parker & Janet ( 2nd UPDATE )

Approximately 15 riders responded to my earlier postings to say that they intend to meet at the Pot Place.

I advised the Tea Rooms of this to day and said subject to weather conditions that we  may prefer to sit outside or if it rains as forecast then we will be accommodated indoors.

We are booked in for 11's.

It will be good to meet up with Parker & Janet.

The list is now available for ride leaders to add rides. You will all notice that we are experimenting with Informal Self-led rides as discussed at our AGM. These are various routes  between 23 and 35 miles from designated starting points and include the café stop for that day. These can be downloaded for your ride. If club members intend to ride the route it would be useful if you text or WhatsApp Mike on 07906896503 so that we can assess how the experiment is going.   It is proposed to have a Club Festive lunch on Saturday 17th January 2026 1230 for 1300 at the Roundthorn Hotel Penrith. 3 Ride Sunday 1st March

 A relatively short 3 ride so that we have a chance to get back to Langwathby in time for last orders at the fund raising Big Breakfast at Langwathby village hall( closes 2 pm) for anyone who would like that.  Figure of 8 Langwathby - Milburn- Melkinthorpe - Culgaith - Gamblesby- Langwathby.  9.30 start from the green at Langwathby.  Cafe at Melkinthorpe half way round. 40 miles in total  Garmin GPX   HERE Generic GPX  HERE Please let me know if you are coming, thanks.
