2 bike ride from Greystoke TOMORROW - food update!

Hi everyone,

It appears that we're going to have a popular ride tomorrow and I'm conscious that we are aiming to stop at Melmerby Bakery around lunchtime. Just in case they are already thronged when we arrive I am suggesting riders might like to bring emergency provisions.  There may well be outside seating available for hardy types but securing a seat inside might be an issue too....

   AGM Langwathby Village Hall Saturday 25th October 1400 Bring and Share Lunch 1230 This is a notice to remind you that our annual meeting at which we review the past year and plan for the coming one, comes up shortly.  So please think about whether you could help by joining the committee and keeping things going!  We hope to have a Bring and Share light lunch before the meeting and possibly after a short morning ride. RUNS LIST 1st QUARTER 2026

The list is now available for ride leaders to add rides. You will all notice that we are experimenting with Informal Self-led rides as discussed at our AGM. These are various routes  between 23 and 35 miles from designated starting points and include the café stop for that day. These can be downloaded for your ride. If club members intend to ride the route it would be useful if you text or WhatsApp Mike on 07906896503 so that we can assess how the experiment is going. You should also download the ICE (In Case of Emergency) list from our documents page (password protected so contact Mike if problematic!). This gives you all members’ emergency contacts. It is also very important that all riders follow our Code of Conduct and Group Etiquette advice which can also be found on our website 'Useful Documents' page.
