Choices for Wednesday 30 April!

Looks like a lovely day for a bike ride. There are two great rides to choose from - one to the west and one to the east. See the posts below from Martin and Jeff. We hope that as many as possible can join one of these great rides. We understand that the Post Box Pantry at Dufton will not be open on Wednesday, so we are suggesting that we use The Hideaway Cafe at Brougham Hall.

Hello, New month, new email! It’s great now that the days are getting longer and we’ve had enough sunshine to start tempting us outdoors again – of course, many of you haven’t stopped going out through the winter anyway! This email is just a quick update primarily about three things. If you haven’t noted the date for the Trivets – Wednesday 2 July, based at Dalston Village Hall, near Carlisle – please put it on your calendar now. The details are on the blog and places are limited so if you want to join in this challenge please register as soon as possible which you can do via the blog link. We also need volunteers to help on the day so if you don’t think you can rise to the challenge of cycling 100k or 100 miles, we still need you! You can sign up on the volunteer link on the blog.
