3 bike ride Sunday 26th May

By recent standards due to be quite a good day - 'light rain showers and a gentle breeze!' So I thought I'd get the Alston ride out of my system. I promise I will not put it on again! 

Starting at the Garage (Texaco/Spar) in Alston we back track to Garigill and then over into Nenthead so plenty of hills!(to make up for miles) and on down into Allenhead Town where there are numerous possibilities for refuelling. (but bring your own as always; it's BH weekend so may be closed/busy) We then return via Whitfield and Stonehouse. 73km and 1350m of ascent. Route here

Hope to see a few hardy ones out!?
