Ride to Moreland on Wednesday

I'm going to cycle from home in Raughton Head to Moreland for coffee/lunch on Wednesday leaving around 09:30. Let me know if you would like to join me either at the start or somewhere along the route. Suggested joining points at the crossroads in Calthwaite (8 miles - 10:10ish) or Stoneybeck roundabout (13miles - 10:30 or just after). Total distance to Moreland 25 miles. Holiday Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st September

  With thanks to Adella, we have identified an option for a holiday at Cote Ghyll Mill Youth Hostel near Osmotherley , east of Northallerton . There looks to be a great choice of road cycling gravelling and MTB nearby.  We are proposing to book the hostel entirely for our use from Thursday 18th September to Sunday 21st September . The property does not do self-catering; we either take B & B or full board including a packed lunch and 2 course evening meal and the full board option is very economical so that is what we propose. The property has 14 bedrooms each with 2, 4 or 6 beds in them and all of them are ensuite. I have worked on the basis of 2 people sharing a room but one room (at least) could be turned into a single-sex dorm style room. They are all bunk beds but 5 of the rooms have a lower bunk which is a double bed. If 2 people are in a room for 4 (or 6) they will both be able to have a lower bunk I have worked out the cost on the basis of 2 people sharing each roo...

Simple Survey of interest in group holiday

As discussed at the AGM - we need to get some indication of interest in a club week away next year 2025. We are thinking11-18 May so.......
