Ride to Moreland on Wednesday

I'm going to cycle from home in Raughton Head to Moreland for coffee/lunch on Wednesday leaving around 09:30. Let me know if you would like to join me either at the start or somewhere along the route. Suggested joining points at the crossroads in Calthwaite (8 miles - 10:10ish) or Stoneybeck roundabout (13miles - 10:30 or just after). Total distance to Moreland 25 miles. The list is now available for ride leaders to add rides. You will all notice that we are experimenting with Informal Self-led rides as discussed at our AGM. These are various routes  between 23 and 35 miles from designated starting points and include the café stop for that day. These can be downloaded for your ride. If club members intend to ride the route it would be useful if you text or WhatsApp Mike on 07906896503 so that we can assess how the experiment is going.   It is proposed to have a Club Festive lunch on Saturday 17th January 2026 1230 for 1300 at the Roundthorn Hotel Penrith. 3 Ride Sunday 1st March
