Start 9.30 from White Moss car park on A591 between Grasmere and Rydal Water. Free parking available on minor road above, eg what3words ///beyond.back.squabbles  

Ride south via Hawkshead and Esthwaite Water, then returning north on the quiet east side of Coniston Water. Lunch at Brantwood after 21 miles so you might like to bring something with you for elevenses.

About 34 miles with a few hills.
