Sunday 15th June 3 ride Dalston to Cockermouth and return

I'd welcome some company on this scenic ride, 55miles around 3000ft, starting at 9.30am Sunday morning from Dalston car parks.  A game of 2 halves, the first half rather hilly, the second quite flat.  All being well we'll have a coffee stop at Cockermouth.   Route is essentially out via Caldbeck and back via Wigton and can be found  HERE   Please message me on 07770475915 if you intend to join me

Wednesday 11th June: 11 bridges across the Caldew

A two bike ride of 35 miles leaving Dalston at 9.30. Route  HERE . About 18 miles to the Quaker Meeting House at Mosedale for refreshments (perhaps by 11.30). Here we may meet up with Dave's ride from Armathwaite (see post below). The ride out often follows very minor roads and is a bit of an exploration as we criss-cross the Caldew several times. Obviously river crossings create a bit of up-and-down! So a slowish pace. The route back is a bit more direct and crosses the river only once at the White Bridge in Dalston. Back via Hesket Newmarket , Southwaite abd Aitketgate. 46 miles 3000 feet of ascent.
