Club Rides from Dalston Wednesday 21st May

Something a little bit different this week - a choice of 2 rides both starting & finishing in Dalston, Both rides are the morning loops of our 2 Tri-Vets rides which are planned for 2nd July. On Tri-Vets day itself 11s will be at the Quaker Meeting House in Mosedale - unfortunately it is not yet open on Wednesdays so we'll have to travel  a little further up to Caldbeck for the main refreshment stop so bring a snack if you think you'll extra sustenance! 3 Bike Ride ( 50 miles ) led my me (Bill) - route HERE   (coffee at Caldbeck after 33miles). 2 Bike Ride ( 35 miles ) led by Mike - route HERE   (coffee at Caldbeck after 23miles). Both these rides present a good opportunity for anyone who has never led a club ride before to try being leader. If you have not yet signed up for Tri-Vets please do so by following this LINK for a great day of cycling. Please text or WhatsApp if you're planning to join us on Wednesday, Mike 07906 896 503 for the 35 mile ride. Bill 07921 2...

Items for sale...

Some of you may know that Jonathan from the Appleby area has had to put his cycling on hold for a while due to torn knee tendons. We all wish him a full recovery as quickly as possible. He has two cycling items he won’t be able to use and is offering them to others (for a suitable donation 😉 ) The first relates to the Ride to the Sun which Jonathan had planned to do overnight Saturday 21 st June before his body told him he couldn’t. Jonathan has booked a ticket for the bus to take riders and their bikes back from Edinburgh to Carlisle after the event which is now for sale. Secondly Jonathan has one of our new club long-sleeved jerseys for sale – medium-sized, T1. Please get in touch with Jonathan if you are interested in either item – 07908 414033 Alison
